Kid's Maker space
Join us for our kid's community maker space series. Each week activities range from creating clay sculptures, organized movement and dance, or artist-led traditional arts and crafts.
Activities are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursdays from 4-6pm. Check our events calendar for more details.

Explore! Children's Museum in partnership with DanceLoft on 14th brings childrens dance classes to the Fort Totten area. Explore pre-ballet, ballet I, jazz, or Mommy and Me classes!

Past Programs
Designed for students in grades 3-6, the Mission Mobile seats 5-17 students per 75-minute mission.
Students will utilize up to 40 modern-day skills including problem-solving, collaboration, and critical-thinking!
During missions kids become:

Family Festivals!
Explore! Children's Museum, with support from DCCAH and local artists, provides art, music and science activities to our community.
This includes dance workshops, science demos and a variety of arts and humanities activities.
We have hosted over a dozen free children's festivals in our Fort Totten neighborhood.
